How to Add and Edit Items

You can add and edit items (or services) either while creating an invoice or estimate, or directly through your item catalog in the settings.


Adding a new item

Option 1: While creating an invoice or estimate

  1. Tap New Invoice or New Estimate

  2. In the Items section, tap + Add Item 

  3. Enter the item name, quantity, price, and unit

  4. If you want to save this item to your catalog for future use, leave the toggle “Save to items catalog” turned on 

  5. Tap Done

If you turn off the toggle, the item will only be used in that specific document and won’t be saved to your item list.


Option 2: From the Settings

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Items

  3. Tap

  4. Fill in the details and tap Save

This adds the item directly to your catalog, so it will be available when building new invoices or estimates.


Editing an item

You can also update item details in two ways:

Option 1: From the item catalog

  • Go to Settings > Items

  • Tap the item you want to edit

  • Make your changes and tap Save

Option 2: From an invoice or estimate

  • Open a document where the item is being used

  • Tap the item row

  • Make your changes 

  • A toggle will appear asking if you want to update the saved item in your catalog

    • If turned on, changes will be applied to the item in your catalog

    • If turned off, changes will only apply to the current document
